Baby Bib, Anyone?

Coreen and I were discussing a few of our past Brides that have just had babies, who are now pregnant and a few of them have had their babies before the Wedding.

Then all of a sudden this old boy gets an idea! Why not get baby bibs with our logo printed on them and send them/take them to the former clients as a small, yet (I believe) unique Thank You and Congrats on your new or not so new baby.

We've ordered our first 6 and have already handed out 2 today. One bib was given to a Bride that stopped by today to pick up her pictures for her little girl that was born about 6 months before their wedding. The other bride just delivered her youngster about 2 weeks ago....in the car on the way to the hospital! Both seemed to be tickled over the gesture.

Here's an image of what they look like...We are having all of them made in purple to avoid that whole blue for boy, pink for girl thing...

That's awesome and really out of the box. Much better than a refrigerator magnet. Money well spent Kirby now you just need to find a way to get a picture of all the little babies in one sitting wearing your bibs.

That would make an excellent billboard

Thanks, Kyle!

Yeah that would be something wouldn't it?

The Ball Babies Bib Billboard! :sqwink:

Hmmmm, might give people the wrong impression and they might assume that all of them are mine....:sqerr::sqlaugh:

Logisitical nightmare getting all those rugrats in one place at one time. Think of the smell from all those diapers.:sqerr:

I guess one could "Photoshop" them in?

First of all, we'd have to get the Parents' to sign a photo release...especially if we used their images for advertising.

You could have Coreen make it like a Ann Geddes type appeal. How cool is that?

You could get then bigger and give them to the older folks too......

Nice!

Dave

ps. How can we make this into a call to action? You know....a blank square with the words (Your baby's picture belongs here)! OR "Capturing every precious moment"

I currenly don't contact past customers. I am planning to start sending anniversary cards to past clients.

I have noticed quite a few brides this year that were pregnat at their wedding.

Gee, why don't you just run a large banner with your logo across your table at every wedding?

What's the cost of these things? I hope that you jacked up your price.

Are babies going to be your clients?

How insulting. Why don't you hand out pacemakers, too?

Babies can't read.

We're working on that. Only we want to do it in bright neon lights. :sqerr:

Pretty nominal and definitely a lot less than some of the other forms of advertising that we've done....you know the kind where you spend way to much money on a print ad and see no results whatsoever. Yup, we've already raised our prices, we are now middle-level bottomfeeders.:sqwink:

Are babies going to be your clients?

God, I hope not.....I'd be so old that I would be needing one of those bibs for myself.

Hmmm, never thought of it as insulting. Pacemakers, hmmmm I wonder if Jacob can hook me up with a supplier. :sqconfused:

Babies can't read.

They sure can't, and neither can most of the kids that graduate High School in the United States.:sqlaugh::sqwink:

Remember, Johnny we're trying to do something that no one in this area is doing and attempting to prove that we are a bit different from the rest. :D:sqwink:

Tuna and parsnip sandwiches are "different" too.

This thread is not worth my time. I'm just posting this to let you know that.

Handed out a couple more bibs last weekend.

We knew that 2 of our former Brides would be attending this reception. One had just delivered and one is due any minute. :sqeek: They were tickled pink that we thought of them.

Sometimes you just have to put a smile on other's faces.

I think this is an excellent idea and it would seem like such a personal gift to each bride I bet.
