First, I would like all Vancouver area DJs to note this, in case you might be interested.

Second, because this is beyond my scope of knowledge, I would like anybody to give me his/her take on this. Any educated opinion pertaining to this is good.

So far, I am thinking about going to this, even if it is just for the heck of it.

Johnny,

With due respect it comes across as a load of BS that's looking for suckers to buy it. What is a "Strategic Communications Expert" anyhow? A motivational speaker?

Are a bunch of Olympic and "Paralympic" (whatever the heck that is) news reporters really gonna give a care about anything other than what they're there to report?

I was born in July but it wasn't last July. ;)

Darn it. I was hoping that I was not the only person that had such thoughts.

Nevertheless, I am thinking of going because I am acquainted the a few of the folks from "Spirit of BC." Consider it a "public appearance," that may or may not happen, depending on the advice that I get.

Its only $45 to get ready for the olympics you see the big fan fare the chineese are getting hoax or not you may be able to turn some kind of event out of it. There will be a lot of business around the olympics

Target:
Corporate Sponsors for tent/village client parties
Teams for celebratory parties
media for media parties and pep rally's
SIN- service industry nights for those who are working the make shifts bars and restaurants set up for olympic week

if you connect with just one of these types of people you'll rake in some jobs.
I do this regularly with Nascar events, and the PGA event that comes here every year.
which is consequentally next week
