Hello there,

Thanks for your recent ad on Gumtree. Just a note to let you know that today - 7th August, we will be retiring the Gumtree US sites and directing all of our US users to our sister site Kijiji.

From next week you’ll be able to more easily find, edit, and bulk repost your ads. You can also manage your payment and contact details all in one place, accessible from every page on the site.

A little about Kijiji

Like Gumtree, Kijiji (“village” in Swahili) is a classifieds site that enables local communities to meet, buy and sell in areas such as Pets, Motors, Goods, Jobs, Housing and Services. Kijiji.com is now in over 200 different cities in the US attracting nearly 5 million monthly unique visitors who can browse over 300,000 total listings!

With Kijiji you will have access to even more ads and people in your local area.

If you live in the New York area please visit Kijiji New York and Post a Free Ad today!
If you live in the Chicago area please visit our Kijiji Chicago and Post a Free Ad today!
If you live in the Boston area please visit Kijiji Boston and Post a Free Ad today!

I've had an ad in the 'Boston' one for about 6 months.
Unlike KIJIJI, you could put an active Anchor Text hyperlink in the ad.
Ads never expired (unlike Craigslist)

Damn those Brits for spoiling a good thing!!!
