It's just about Back to school time so I thought I'd share with you some things that really work for us.
First off, advertising in the local up-scale, college prep schools newspaper. Maybe your local public school fits the bill but we have all of the upper eschelon private schools on annual contracts and we advertise in all of their school newspapers, why do you ask?
1. Its extremely cheap we do a full page in one of the top private schools in the region 12 times a year for $465 not per insertion for the whole year
2. Parents support companies that support their kids schools
What kind of jobs do we get from this advertising?
- a ton of up-scale sweet 16s
- private "open house" parties for the holidays and the spring
- school sponsored events
- Halloween Parties
- New Years eve parties
We get most of the business from the parents directly. Most of the private schools in our area mail the school paper to the parents in addition to dropping it at lunch time in the school.
