Simply a modifaction that's used mainly on How to boards for thanking someone for the info with out posting. It's intended to less the complaints about people posting to say thank to up their post count.
Post count smost count.. As another wise DJ once said.. It's quality not quanity.
Jon Tuck 08-08-2006, 03:18 PM It reminds me of my grandpa so It stuck with me :)

DJ Dan 08-08-2006, 11:35 PM hey if you have time to shcrew around then you have time to answer my inquisitory inquiries
I've been making posts in between IM and PM breaks, a reply to your inquisitory inquiries took some research. :)
Mr. K 08-12-2006, 05:42 PM Hey, are KJs welcome?
Travis B 08-12-2006, 06:38 PM Absolutely NO! ;)
Mr. K 08-12-2006, 07:15 PM This is my thought for the day.
I have noticed how our DEMOCRACY has worked thus far.
All decisions are good unless vehemently opposed by someone.
I noticed this already when I would ask something like, "Hey, you like this idea?" I would get no answer, and do it anyway--and it's okay. And the opposite: for example, Dan asks things and I always say I DON'T CARE unless I really don't like it; even then, I usually say, BUT I DON'T MIND IF YOU REALLY WANT IT.
I like that and, for as long as I can, I am going to keep it that way.
We are cool. That's why.
Fred Stewart 08-12-2006, 07:26 PM Few revolutions succeed without strong leadership. ;)
In essence, no democracy by definition can sustain itself. In its purest form, a democracy is controlled by everyone. This would result in no control at all.
Better to refer to it as a representative republic.
George "Dubya" Bush cannot seem to avoid uttering the term "democracy" for some reason. And he's a Republican. :D
Just being my old, impolitic self....
DJ JohnThe1 08-12-2006, 10:06 PM This is where I belong. It's awesome that you guys started this board. Thanks for the invite Mista Spinna. I will see to it that I spread the word..

When experience makes a difference
Did you ask anybody's permission? :p
Welcome aboard.
I strongly encourage you to change that slogan to something that you offer. I am having a hard time convincing EVERYBODY to do this, but most are complying--many are in between. Look at some examples and try to make it less like "When experience makes a difference" to something more like "I have the most experience in Nova Scotia".
Get it?
DJ JohnThe1 09-28-2006, 05:14 PM Welcome to the boards. The guy named Vinyl spins CD's.:sqerr:
Mr. K 09-28-2006, 05:29 PM For those keeping score:
DJ JohnThe1 is a wise guy.
Thanks again to everybody adding their names to this list. This may or may not end up being a valuable resource in the future.
For now. I have set things on "automatic", so to speak, where we are accountable to the people we serve--initiated by the text which I included in between the map and the listings at: http://www.adjrevolution.com
I expect there to be some changes (minor or drastic) when somebody steps up to the plate and creates a better map for the site; in the meantime, I do not expect that to be anytime soon. And I am very adament about NOT using a Frappr map, as I believe it to be very hokey, for reasons that I can explain here if anybody wants me to do so.
BUT...I am taking it upon myself to change some of our SPECIAL FEATURES. This issue has been raised at least a couple of times and some of us either don't get it or don't care: a SPECIAL FEATURE is NOT a SLOGAN.
Check the site again -- http://www.adjrevolution -- and, if I have changed your SPECIAL FEATURE, and it matters to you, then let me know if you do not like the change.
Mr. K 09-28-2006, 06:01 PM I made some changes.
I cannot honestly say that I like them all. I cannot honestly say that I made ALL the changes that I could have.
But I can honestly say that I do not want to trod on peoples' toes; however, I can honestly say that I did as little as possible in order to make certain that our SPECIAL FEATURES appear at least more as tangible and/or measurable statements, as opposed to an at least typical SLOGAN.
I welcome all criticism; if nobody cares, then at least I can stop worrying about it.
I also welcome anybody to provide me with better alternatives.
Thanks.
:sqlaugh:
Jeff Romard 09-28-2006, 10:29 PM Hey Johnny

Kirby Ball 09-28-2006, 10:57 PM Johnny:

Under normal circumstances, I would have ensured, along with a little bit of moderating, to keep this thread as a LIST, but I do not care anymore.
HiDefDJ 09-29-2006, 12:00 AM .I'm glad you figured out the missing word.
Mr. K 09-29-2006, 03:42 AM It's not as easy as it looks.
You might notice that some tweaking is needed on the map.
I am working on it.
This weekend.

I'm not here to moderate OUR DJ TALK. I'm here to navigate A DJ REVOLUTION.
DJ Dan 09-29-2006, 04:13 AM Very Well, Johnny
Mr. K 09-29-2006, 12:05 PM Now the entire page needs a little tweaking.
But the map, I believe, is much better now.
And I have plans for when we expand further and THIS map becomes cluttered.
I'll be back at it later.
