Build your own game show indicator light lockout systemAlan Dodson 08-15-2008, 09:09 PM Here is a design to build your own system. http://topdiscjockey.com/Game%20Show%20Indicator%20Lights.pdf Papa Deuce 08-15-2008, 09:40 PM What does that cost to build? Ron Auger 08-15-2008, 11:47 PM Papa, It's only about $50 bucks for the electronics. Of course it'll run you about $2000 for the electrical engineer to put it together.:sqlaugh: I've got to get these plans over to my nephew who does AC and Refrigeration and makes things that go boom. This kid is good. He took an old fridge, ripped out the inside and built in a keg with a compressed air line. On the outside of the fridge, he mounted a red fire alarm box (the kind on the telephone poles) I gave him and put the tap inside of that. Of course he has diamond plate covering the outside of the fridge. Now, what happens if the temp drops to low? How would he know if the beer is getting warm? He rigged up a thermostat to the inside and connected it to a red fire alarm strobe, the kind you see inside of buildings. So when the temp drops to low the strobe on the outside of the fridge flashes. Oh yea, this kid is a part time yahoo firefighter in his town. He makes me so proud.:sqlaugh: Papa Deuce 08-15-2008, 11:53 PM Ron, I was guessing less than $100,,, and I have a buddy who makes projects like this all the time as a hobby. Ron Auger 08-16-2008, 12:05 AM I was only kidding on the $50 but let me know how yours turns out. If this guy want's to make a few bucks I might have a couple of people interested.:sqwink: Travis B 08-16-2008, 01:09 AM How hard could it be, he tells you the stuff to use, and gives a wiring diagram.
