Just wondering what type of flash site this is. I've seen this type before but wondering how hard it is to work with. I think it reeks class.

Very classy, they may have either gone with a template or a company that designs flash websites. I highly doubt a flash template
No, but i do know that my bologna has a first name

I think I know the name of your prepared sausage meat LOL. And I have seen this before so I know its more than just one person. But I like the look and feel of it. The only problem is that my current site also has and HTML site that mirrors my flash site which helps in the web crawlers. I don't believe this site does that.

Dave,
I don't think it's a template. It seems to have been designed from scratch using java and flash elements.
If you view the page source, you'll see.
BTW, you could make a page like that with "Visual Site Designer (http://www.coffeecup.com) or Sprout Builder (http://www.sproutbuilder.com).

Thanks Hank I know I have seen this before used by some other folks. I sent him an email asking him i'll see what he says. I really like my web site but I have no problem looking at something like this. To me it reeks class and that is what I want to send to brides looking at us. Now I just need to get some.

it's a $400 template from bludomain.com
they're pre-packaged just like dynamod, and other flash sites...
problem with these sites is that they're not indexed by google.. you'll have to maintain an entire second website in raw html, and make sure it's up to snuff, or no bride will ever find you...
I usually use an html index page to redirect to this type of site.
the only other down side is that it's not mobile friendly, many browsers that are not up to date will not show this site, and the fact that it plays music lessens your chance of someone sticking around to read it.
According to google, most web shopping is done during work hours. if someone hits a website with sound at work, they're not going to look for the off button for the sound, they're going to "X" out....
Other stats I've read in design forums is that sound on a website is a surefire way to get people to avoid your site.
not to mention, I along with many people avoid flash sites like the plague.. they're annoying... It's like a guitar solo.... more for the site owner's benefit than for the customer...
If you maintain both, and give the customer a choice prior to entering the site, this is a quick and dirty way to get a nice flash site.

Thanks but to late Steve I already took the plunge and I will be working on getting a blog going also. It will go live tueday but here is the site The blog will have most of my info along with a thing to check there date. I'm trying here. I do have a flash site now and it has worked fine for me already and plays the same song. But I can set this site to only start song when people want it to. I will have to think about it. I have not gotten far with the blog yet. Because I put in about 25 hours this weekend to get it going and I'm working on a few weddings also. Here also is a link to my blog. Again its nothing right now just the start. http://tngdj.blogspot.com/
