Ne-Yo) at an event for 13-year-olds, and that worked well. "Hot" by Avril Lavigne would work, too. It was outside and they did some games, limbo and costume contest and Human Puzzle (rope game) so as I thought, I didn't play that many slow songs, when I did, only a few danced... The biggest response of the night came for "I Kissed a Girl" which I played in the first 1/2 hour and then as my "hana hou" (encore) song. Bad ass.... I am a little out of practice since I don't do that many school events as I used to. I put out a song list and I had 99% of the songs, so I just went down the list and played the ones that I had.... A little weird. but it worked and the teachers afterward were very pleased,,, and I played everything that some of you say you wouldn't play!
