Help Me Find a Past Post

A few months ago, someone had a post where they were about to do an outdoor gig with a band. Advise was being given to that person as to what speakers etc to rent.
Apparently the band was going to patch in to this guy's rig. Can anyone remember the post and post a link to it? Thanks!

Nope! Thats not the one. This was an outdoor gig that the person was going to do. I think it may be one of the younger DJs. They were also mentioning that they were not going to make much money from it but it was the exposure they were seeking.

I've been searching and cannot find it off hand. Do you remember any more details? Was it a long thread, how long ago did you see it, etc.

If you have some more info, I'll be glad to look for you if not hopefully someone comes along and remembers some details that we can patch together for a good search string. :)

However its not the post I was thinking. There was a post where someone was stating that they had used the Bose L1 system outdoors and it was lacking in Bass. I wanted to find that post to determine what size L1 system they had used. 2 sticks and 4 bass modules or a single stick and two bass modules.

I can tell ya one thing... I've used my 1L1/2B1's outdoors and while they certainly wont produce the bass to blow your mullet back in that configuration... it certainly wasn't no pansy either... there was plenty of bass throughout the pavilion. With a little roll the further away from the setup you got.... especially outside of the pavilion itself... but under the roof it was fine... just your typical frequency roll offs do to open air space....
