OK...I don't know how, but I know WHAT so far. One thing at a time--OK...two things:
1) I want our MISSION STATEMENT to be on a SCROLL--like a HERE YE HEAR YE scroll;
2) I want a map of the world, on which we can put dots that you can click so that a pop up with a list of who's in the area can...pop up.
Who can help me with this? Codes, downloads, whatever.
Or...does anybody have a better idea?

It's offsite but it takes a lot of aggraviting Google API junk of the mix for me as far as implementation.
As for the scroll, I found one.. it's posted in our websites forum. I just don't have the time right to search for a better one, then modify the graphic, plus add text.

For the scrolling text I belive that is called a "Marque". Google Search "Free Website Marquees". They will give you the code and delte what they have typed and enter in what you wanted. Then paste it in :)

I got it but I cannot update it because its' move over to the frontpage server, I can not longer use FTP. :(

I would recommend looking for a java applet which offers marquee or scrolling... Using one of those java applets will create smooth text movements which do not jitter. Looks a lot more professional :)
