Dreamhost here. In theory the price vs. features is excellent, if they worked.

Half the time email doesn't work correctly. Today this sites database went down for a little bit making the entire site inaccessible. As soon as I get a few extra bucks we're moving ODJT to a different host.

I think my hosting provider is doing alright. Thanks for asking.

I uses bluehost.com...they are reasonable and reliable if all you need is straight hosting and design your own site or have someone else do it...

Of course I use Godaddy because they have nice looking babes in their Super Bowl commercials.

You use GoDaddy?!? :D

My opinion of GoDaddy has recently changed, I worked on a website for my old boss and everything was smooth! I guess my hosting account with them was just a fluke. :sqconfused: I still like my current host better because of the high quotas. :)

LOL Dan. I can certianly understand the way you feel. I can relate because I had a bad experience with WEDJ hosting and switched to GoDaddy. I am not saying WEDj hosting is bad, just I had a bad experience with them and on the same token I am not saying Godaddy is the greatest, but they were my saving grace when I needed it most.

I'm sure you feel the same way with Godaddy and one and one.

I had Yahoo for about 2 years without a glitch. Recently switched to Dynamod and my site was down for a couple of days (server issues on their end). They offered me mext month free. :)

GoDaddy is the Wal-Mart of hosting providers. :D

We have no complaint with 'em. Never had an issue with email nor the site. Shirl has used their 24-hour help desk a few times... great service.

I am thinking about swithing to dynamod. We should add it to the poll. I cant find the edit button, maybe we got differnt permission now than before.

Hmmn... let me see.... my DJ site is on a private host. I have a 1 and 1 account for something I am working on, and I have a go daddy domain registration for PapaDeuce.com .

We currently use LinkSky. Reasonable prices, we've had good luck with their customer service, virtually no down time, the only complaint is that their templates are kind of .....let's say....generic. :) Overall a good experience with them and have been using them for about 18 months now.

Saw some of the websites that have been hosted by Dynamod and was very impressed by them....looking at the possibility of moving over to that particular host.

Right now, we are sticking with a template, until we have the time to build from the ground up.

Personally, I'd say watch out for Dynamod they advertise on your site. In my opinion that's not good business. If our host here at ODJT required a link back to them, I wouldn't do business with them.

Just a thought. :)

That is something to consider. Thanks for the information!
