Does Anyone use MakesParties.com?

It says you make 20% comminsion.

I've seen a few DJ's sites with an affilate link, never heard any complaints about them.

I haven't looked at it indepth, is it basically signup and you're set to go? If so, do it and put a link on your site. If it takes maintence, you have to weight how much you think it will make for you vs time and aggravation spent on upkeep.

I'd think most DJs business sites don't get enough traffic for affilate linking.

I've read some posts that most DJs don't make enough money off the link for it to be worthwhile.

If you want to make money selling props, glow items, etc., sell them as a package or an add on. Something like "Add 200 Glowsticks tou your party for only $XXX."

I am not doing it to make the money. I know I am not going to make much since it is 20% of each order. I just want to be able to tell clients they can order things from the link on my online party store. Makes Parties offers some cool things like custom signs which people would enjoy. I wanted to know if anyone had them and there clients enjoyed it etc.

LOL!!!!!!!

I've made thousands of dollars over the years from affiliate links on my websites. I think it gives your company a little "bigger" appearance with your own private labeled party store. I've made a couple of hundred bucks from my MakesParties links...often from people who just happened upon the link in a web search (sometimes from other cities) and were not even my DJ client.

What can it hurt?
