Thanks to the hard work of your moderators, we have enabled the user reputation system. You can give a user "rep" or reputation by clicking on the justice scales icon in postbit (http://www.ourdjtalk.com/styles/dj/buttons/reputation.gif).
You will see green or red gobs in postbit below the mood setting the more green gobs the better reputation if red is shown it means the user has a negative reputation.
As it stands everyone started off with 10 points, thanked posts from here on in are worth 2 points each. You cannot thank and rep the same post.
You must spread reputation over 9 others before giving it to the same person again, this is to prevent abuse.
