anybody know anything about winrar?

all i am trying to do is unzip all of my karaoke files. trying to switch from sax and dottie to ots. So i have to unzip all of my files and then convert them to ots.

strange thing...when i select all the folders....it scans then all....and then when it starts extracting them, it always stops after a certain point.....and it changes the path too....i set it to go to J:\karaoke...then when i check it after it stopped....it had j:\karaoke\karaoke listed as the "extract to"

anybody have any ideas? or an easier way to do this

When I had to repair some of my karaoke files, I used Winrar to unzip and then just rezipped them with Windows (right click/send to/compressed folder).

Use it all the time :)

When you click Extract, go to the Advanced tab, under File paths, set to Do not extract paths, and then they will go where you tell them to.

It's adding the path already created in the archive, to wherever you pointed to.
