Just throwing out an invitation to any fellow ODJTers to come say hello if you are in the neighborhood. We're doing a production job in Estes Park at the YMCA camp--stop by the long house and look me up if you are nearby.
Event is a church youth conference; about 1800 attendance. We do sound, lights, video and more. It's a load of stuff. We will be here all week; ending session is friday night. [load out saturday if you have a lot of pent up energy to dispose of!]
I envy you.
Stayed in a cabin on the Little Thompson river across the street from the Y camp entrance....the water was five feet from the front door, if that. Beautiful area....I'd move in a heartbeat.
Tell you what. Cover my travel expenses, and I'll come work as a roadie....

Val, I have events in Estes all week as well. Diana and I will drop by again (between shows) and say hello.

Looking forward to seeing you both again! Wanted to give you a heads up, but of course, time got away from me. You know where to find me. Band needs are a little less intensive (and less experienced), but other aspects are more involved. They upped attendance from 1200 to 1800, which as you know is a pretty full Longhouse with a big stage. See you sometime this week!

Missed you Scott!! Kept waiting for you guys to sneak around backstage. Everything went well; we were asked for a stack of business cards by convention services with the comment that "you should work out a contract to be the exclusive provider"... That always feels good! Hopefully we can get that way a little more often.
Hope your events went well also. Thought of you every time we ran to town for something!

Friday and Saturday went well (except warm) and Sunday the Rain held off until 5 minutes AFTER the ceremony finished and everyone darted for the tent. :)
Setup looked REAL nice. Again...It was a shame we missed out. Maybe I'll get up your way. :)
Been asked a couple of times to tour with an up-and-comming band as FOH. Not sure I want to tour. A couple of nights is OK but multi city LONG tours........ :(
