It comes with software to sync it, the site says it's also compatible with Windows Media Player. You can read more info about it's capabilities here: http://www.woot.com/Blog/BlogEntry.aspx?BlogEntryId=2568

Me too, I got that MP3 player you posted a while back Eddy. It was a refurb and worked great until I dropped it in a mud puddle. :sqmad: It even worked after that but I sat on it in the car and it was all over with! :sqeek:

Player is nice and the screen is very clear. The only issue is the software is useless, you can not create playlists or change the ratings of songs.

You have to use windows media player to transfer songs, and even if you rate the songs or create a playlist in WMP, it does not transfer to the player.

Just got mine yesterday too. Just loaded songs and a few videos. It serves it's purpose. Cheap earphones. Nothing fancy, but worth the money. I did not receive the carrying case with it. I like it! ...thx

I got mine yesterday. I'm simply blown away by the video quality. I'd like to see an iPod's just to compare. Yeah, I know I'm probably the only person in the world who hasn't seen an ipod play video, yet. :D

True the included software is the typical garbage shipped with these things. I'm using WMP 11. I've been trying to move over about 500 songs, it seems to freeze at about 400. Maybe it's a problem with files themsevles but they were all ripped with the same program.

@Patrick - To transfer a play list just drop it onto the sync list. It transfers, I tried it earlier.

A really neat feature I found yesterday is while a song is playing. Press the ^ (up button) up comes a list of all songs you can then spin the jog wheel to scroll through them. Select your song and press >>| (track skip) to play it. It makes searching for a song a lot better than pressing skip one by one. :)

Dan, It will add the songs from the playlist, but when it will not actually keep the playlist in tact, meaning when you go the playlist function, it says "no lists found"

I had no troubles putting 950 songs on mine at once

If anyone figures out how to make a playlist on the actual player itself, could they post it up here.

Sorry I forgot about this thread:

I see no way to make a play list on the player itself. My playlists transfer fine from Windows Media player.

What version of Windows Media Player are you using? I'm using WMP 11 on XP.

You've tried going to the menu, selecting music library than using the jog wheel to go to the playlists menu, right?

When I drag and drop the playlist into the sync window, it just adds all the songs, but when they transfer to the player, it does not keep the playlist, just puts the songs on the player.

Sorry I cannot be of more help, Pat. It just works for me, I check my WMP options, I don't see anything dealing with syncing of playlists.
