Men: Your order of events?

John Allo

We've had an appalling lack of Papa Deuce-type threads lately, so I'll do my part to rectify this situation.

Men!

When you set out to do your morning bathroom trifecta, what order do you use?

(And to keep it discreet, let's use the abbreviations SHI, SHO, SHA. The last two represent SHOWER and SHAVE. Please use your power of imagination for the first one. :sqwink:)

Me? Since I was ordered off the razor blade (due to blood thinning meds I take, one wrong nick and the Docs say I'll bleed for days or hours or weeks), my order is

SHI
SHO
SHA

I shave in the shower (when doing your head, it is the best thing), so I guess it would be a tie for me, lol

Do you SHI before, after or (ewwwww) during :sqerr: the SHA & SHO combo?

I work at home, and am single -- no particular order, time, or place :)

I shave once a week or two, except during the winter, when I let it grow to keep warm. Shower when I smell, or need to go somewhere, where someone else might smell me., SHI whenever the need arises (sometimes 4-5 times a day, sometimes only once or twice).

I do brush my teeth first thing out of bed in the morning though, although I have no idea why, as the more I do it, the quicker they fall out...

I'm surprised by all the shave first then shower answers. I've always read, and have personally found, that it is easier and less abrassive to shave after the shower.

Shouldn't that be WWPMD?

Well, I do things differently. I get up and go to work. When I get home I may SHI in the early afternoon. About 7pm I MIGHT SHA, but I WILL SHO even if I don't SHA. I'm then off to my fiancee's house.

That's why I do things differently.

It's about twice a year when I need to SHI about an hour after I SHO and I HATE that. I feel disgusting afterwards.

Most times I don't really SHA. I usually keep stubble on my face unless we're doing something special or if I really want to. I usually trim twice a week and that's it.

SHA while SHO.
Take care of the rest of it after lunch.
Thanx so much for asking John.
I miss Papa Deuce.

When I was in boot camp we had to do some of 'em at the same time. We had the 4 s's ~ chit, shower, shave and shine. :D

There were times when I sat on the can and shined my shoes with my left hand while writing a letter home with my right hand. :)

Now that I'm an old fart and the military has no further use for me, I cheat and shave in the shower. Shirl got me a mirror for the shower that has suction cups to hold it to the wall... so I can shave in the shower.

To avoid irritating John even more tonight ;) I'll try to address the original question. Shi is first and foremost. It always hits me as soon as I wake up. If I'm quick I can get some coffee heated so's I can sip my mud and read the paper while on the can. :D

Then comes the Sho and Sha. I don't shave every day, btw. I have to wear a beard cover at Playtex. It's not as though anyone would notice.

I SHA SHI SHO or SHI SHA SHO or SHA SHO or SHI SHO or just SHO. Sometimes I have to SHI at night. As a matter of fact I feel like SHIing right now thinking about it. SHHHHHHHHH don't tell anyone.
