I've been checking out the newer electronica/alternative, and I have to say I'm appreciating that more than most forms of music lately.
"Le Disko" - Shiny Toy Guns
"Proper Education" - Eric Prydz w/Pink Floyd
"Capital G" - Nine Inch Nails
"We're Coming Home" - Rogue Traders
I think the alternative/electronica scene is more energetic, positive...and after a night of playing Top40...this hits the spot!
Anybody else listen to Alternative/electronica???

I listen to an alternitive station here in Nor Cal. 106.5 KWOD - "30 Years Of Alternitive Music" - Of course, some of it is pretty pop/top 40 sounding, but I like it. For my personal taste, I LOVE techno, trance, trip-hop, house, electronica, what ever you wanna call it. Goldfrapp rocks!

Goldfrapp is cool. That sounds like a cool radio station. The one out here is out of Milwaukee, 102.1 Independent Alternative Radio. They have a great playlist from Chemical Brothers to Bob Marley to Veruca Salt.

Yep, all of the above on my station too. Let's see... today I heard Muse, Peter Bjorn and John, White Stripes, Amy Winehouse and lots of other good stuff that I cant think of right now!

Man...I'm listening to a bunch of stuff to psych myself up for football season. I'm dj'ing a small local Catholic HS and swapping services for tuition for my little ones.
i've got two mixes made.

I've been building a big spud launcher, air powered to launch confetti when the boys run out to those tracks. Then I can change out barrels to launch hot dogs and t-shirts. I'm painting it black and white and naming it "sister of charity" because of the whole catholic thing.....pretty funny. I'd better check with the priest first.
Other than that....
I'm listening to Johnny Cash, Boy Hits Car, Crystal Method.....
