Okay sometimes I do "regular" gigs,,, ones with no bikinis around... This was a Thursday wedding and since I left my main DJ rig on Lanai, I had to use my back - up system...

This was at The Westin Maui http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1028

so enjoy....

The pavillion is well covered and I wanted to see how the BOSE would sound with my back-up system.... I was happy...

Very nice setup. Very professional looking!

Have you ever run into Dog the Bounty Hunter over there?

I hear he's a celebrity over there. Kinda like the new Don Ho.
When people hear Hawaii, they think isn't that where "Dog" Chapman is?

Nice pics bro. I have seriously been thinking about the L1's. Are they all of what I heard. And yes I know I would have to sell my third child for them. And no I only have 2 kids .

Well, For me, The L-1's are replaceing all of my other DJing speakers (and thats a LOT) I'm still going to keep my concert stacks because 2 L-1's can not keep up with my full concert rig. Although I am going to experiment with them at my next concert gig. I don't know....whatya think?
Stage monitors from BEHIND the band? :)

I was at a Demo for them and loved them. For me, they would have been the PERFECT choice, but I didn't even know they existed when I bought my JBLs.

Hey Big Papa you can always slap those JBL's on ebay and get the Bose. It's funny the amount of speakers I sold on ebay just to get other ones. Now I think I'm happy with what I have for at least the next 3 years. I hope!
I have to admit the Bose may make things a bit easier for you.

wow a BOSE thread hidden as a gig pic thread! LOL

I sold 10 JBL speakers after I got my BOSE...

Sometimes I wish I would have kept a sub because sometimes it would be nice to have a tad more thump,,,, but that is it.

Papa Chuck the BOSE are easier on your back, but do take more trips outa the van.... I have the upgraded bags with wheels on the power stand and I have gun cases for the sticks that have wheels on them and the bass bins all fit on the rock and roller.

I have a ramp for my van so most everything rolls,,, that's nice.

I'm not the company man that a lot of BOSE users are,,, they have their limits and depending on how big of parties you are doing and what YOU want to hear, will depend on if you like them or not.

As far as "Dawg" goes,,,, he's on Oahu and doesn't really get to Maui... My wife likes his hair! LOL You always like what you don't have.....

I'm ignoring this thread, because there's no sex (unless you count the Bose phallic symbol thingy) :sqlaugh:
