"Single mother".

"Disabled single mother."

"Threatening and intimidating litigation..."

Maybe it's me... maybe I'm goin' crazy but does anyone else see the bias in these comments?

Folks, I'd like to hear the other side of the story of you don't mind. :)

because Kazaa’s activity is automatically buried so as to avoid detection; and, the children – such as Defendants herein, who, in listening to their own, rightly-purchased CD’s unknowingly become distributing pirates). Kazaa also blocked the RIAA’s alleged warning notices to unsuspecting users.

Thats a hell of a software it not only distributes the music illegally unbenounced to the person who's machine its on it rips the music enroute

Folks I will admit I used Kazza back in the day for a while (I preferred Napster or Winmx though) and the one thing I can tell you is that if the software is on your machine you know its there it wasn't secretly installed on this womans machine

I think Don Henly said it best.....

You say you haven't been the same since you had your little crash
But you might feel better if I gave you some cash
The more I think about it, Old Billy was right
Let's kill all the lawyers, kill 'em tonight
You don't want to work, you want to live like a king
But the big, bad world doesn't owe you a thing

Get over it

There again, I don't believe for one monent that every parent is a puter expert. If a parent has a youngster who's using the parent's puter unsupervised, the parent may have no idea what's resting on that HDD.

For example, some years ago when Shirl and I got together, the daughter used Shirl's puter a lot when the daughter was home from college. To make a long story short, I inherited that machine when Shirl got a new one.

We couldn't figure out why the HDD was over 80% filled. Filled with what? Neither of us loaded the thing down. Came to find that the daughter had loaded it with song files from the old Napster site. We identified the stuff and deleted it. As fast as this machine was, it took some time to delete it all. The files were too large for the trash bin so it was all clean-deleted, lol.

Liberal bias aside, I honestly think that witch-hunting amongst the defenseless is poor policy.
