jfactor1 09-14-2006, 02:12 PM Let's have some fun with this thread. Put pics from your gigs on here, whether they're fun, unique, or scary. :sqwink:
Do not put your gear pics on here. There's a thread on the Gear forum for that.
Also, just because there are pics on here does not mean they are free to use on your website. So don't take them without asking the owner first. :)
jfactor1 09-14-2006, 02:13 PM Here's a few I have on my work computer.

musicdoctordj 10-26-2006, 06:11 PM I'm sorry but I have to ask . . . is there really a Gaylord, Michigan?
Yes there is . . . I've been there many times!
Mr. K 10-26-2006, 06:26 PM There is also an American gymnast named, Mitch Gaylord.
jfactor1 10-26-2006, 07:41 PM Nice pics :) I'm sorry but I have to ask is there really a Gaylord, Michigan?
Yes, and it's pronounced Gay-lerd, not Gay-lord.

On the lower left of this map . . . see Jackson?
That is my hometown!
Go north of Jackson on 127, see the name 'Rives Junction' and the lake just to the right of it?
That is the lake I lived on the last seven years I lived in Michigan before returning to Colorado in 1995!
jfactor1 12-03-2006, 12:21 PM While waiting for everyone to show up, I programmed some ambient lighting scenes. They were set up to change every two minutes or so.

jfactor1 12-10-2006, 12:30 AM My wife took this pic of me early in the night at last night's karaoke gig.
The big Carvin's are theirs. I just bring my rack, TV and of course the RCF. The little box on top of the sub is a light controller. They have their own lights and use an ADJ SC-8 to control it. I use a Copilot and they're not compatible. (My old SC-8 controller no longer works)

Kirby Ball 12-10-2006, 03:07 AM I thought this one was kind of cool.....

musicdoctordj 12-10-2006, 11:36 AM Here's me setting up for NYE 2005 at a bar in Denver!
http://musicdoctordj.com/MD at Berkely--Dscf0012.jpg
(this was in my 'chubby' phaze . . . have slimmed back down since then)
For this bar I don't have to bring speakers or amps . . .
They have a pretty awesome speaker system hooked up to their jukebox (bar owner also owns jukebox leasing business), so I run my stuff through their in-house sound system!
Notice the second Pyramid mixer (now relegated to backup backup status) under the main mixer . . .
That was the send to the house system, plus had a back feed from the jukebox as I purposely took breaks during the night so that the jukebox could also make some money!
By running it back through my system allowed me to fade it out when I needed to, or to turn it down when announcements needed to made!
Tyrone Blue 12-14-2006, 02:54 AM Do you ever take off your hat? Same one on the avatar.
Nice lights... what were the ambients coming from?

jfactor1 12-14-2006, 02:00 PM Do you ever take off your hat? Same one on the avatar.
Yep, it's the same hat. Funny thing is I don't wear a hat too often anymore, but when I do it's gotta be my EV hat!!!
Nice lights... what were the ambients coming from?
4 ADJ DJ Scan 250s
Tyrone Blue 12-14-2006, 07:24 PM First one is from behind... boy was this a long time ago. My wife is fooling around with my laptop. Then my bird, when I did the magic act when starting the show. 3rd one is under a big tent... Love the Sunrays. Outdoor wedding from back stage & out front. Several of the moms at one wedding and a camera issue that turned out very cool. Enough for now... taking up too much space on the server..

musicdoctordj 12-22-2006, 02:15 AM Are those really cassettes in the pic...too kewl !

And a Corporate XMas party we did... The guy in the Cowboy hat singing Johnny Cash owns a Fortune 500 company... scarry, he sings very well. The idiot in the Elf hat is my MC, Jason "Hawse" Yurechko.

Hey music Doctor,
I was just curious as to know why you have 2 cases with 1 cd player in each. Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 10 over 8 case and put everything into it? Also, do you find it hard mixing with the cd controllers situated as they are?
spinnerdoc 07-30-2007, 09:15 AM Looks like a fun time, & a job well done!
spinnerdoc 07-30-2007, 09:17 AM I had Richie running around tonight snapping pictures...
Hey Tyrone, that looked like a good time, and a job well done! Nice pics.
Tyrone Blue 08-11-2007, 05:10 PM I'd like to see more pictures of everyone at their gigs... Seems like Me Kirby and Chuck are the only ones. Let's get our cameras out and snap away!!!
The guy in the lake got too drunk, and fell off the dock. Then it started raining, and we had to pull everything inside. I set up in the back of the downstairs bar. The "babe" is one of our waitresses.
I'll keep posting it if no one else does... C'mon!
