Please note that it was an afterthought, after I saw the friendly replies from those who are NOT amongst the pompouseurs.

I'm honored to be written about. :) Seriously though, nice post. I'm surprised it hasn't disappeared yet given our recent membership issues over there.

Me = banned. IP blocked.

I've been told to grow up. Imagine that, coming from those asswipes.

I was surprised at first.

Now, however, that it got a good response (note that, although I made a "comment" at the beginning, I made no blatant "political" statements), I think that those in charge are more afraid of looking bad by censoring such a thread.

TOO CLEVER BY HALF.

Normally that is an admonishment (too clever) not this time it is an accolade. That really is funny. Usually you can start a war over there by telling somebody the weather forecast.

Wow, all positive responses. You may be on to something.

Yeah, eh?

But, it IS also a matter of WHO makes the responses--which brings us back to WHY I posted this.

I've stuck this thread and I've also started at DJ Blog @ deejaydan.org as a counter point to other "industry leaders" ramblings. Are my ramblings any better? You decide.

At any rate, as Vinyl said it depends on who replies. I see a couple of newer members over there responded nicely. No doubt they aren't "in the know yet" the GWYW crew seems to ignore and spread rumors about most if not all of us "bottomfeeders". They have their own private PM/Email parties but more than likely those stupid enough to pay for DJA forums discuss our "idiocy" behind closed doors where we cannot see nor defend ourselves. The [old] server logs tell all, ODJT & ADJR has gotten many deep hits from deep within DJ Chat's PM system & the DJA forums. Which means our posts and blogs postings are being specifically linked to in specific threads/private messages.

Am I bitter? No. I'm fed up with people hiding behind closed doors but I digress sooner or later the openness of this forum will catch on and others will realize talking in wide open view of everyone else is better for many reasons.

Just my .02,
Dan

Instead of taking the with us or against us approach it might be better served to take the youre with us or your loss approach. Lets face it we have the best of the best from the other board(s) with more to come

They have 22,000 or so members to our 84 but Ill be willing to bet that we have close to as many regular contributiors and a lot more useful posts with less bull**** involved

It all comes down to quality over quantity my friends

be careful not to travel down a road that will be one from which you cannot come back... name calling is a bad starting point...

Just say there was a post from someone who wasn't very nice... you know, a jerk, a dip sh*t, a pile of cr*p, his mother wears army boots and dresses him funny....
