80's music.... kind of.

I was listening to a talk show today. Out of nowhere they started talking "fashion".... about how 80's fashion is becoming popular again.... colored denim jeans, big hair, and 1 or 2 other things....

Well, like Kirby mentioned in one post, he noticed some newer songs that have a little bit of the 80's sound in them..... I have noticed this as well.... it seems to be creeping back in.....

One can only hope.

Couldn't agree more Papa. The 80's where great, and it seems the behavior in music is that it always makes a circle. I hope the new stuff gets rid of some of the crap that has been released recently.

Every era has a retro rebirth about 20 years after it ended.

In the 70's, the 50's were the rage. (Happy Days)
In the 80's, the 60's were the rage.
In the 90's, the 70's were the rage.
In the 00's, the 80's are the rage.

Cripes, following this trend, in the teens, the 90's will be back. Wasn't grunge awful enough the first time around?

Grunge ruined Rock and made way for RAP.
