This is what I wrote in the online guest book.
My condolences to John's family. I don't know what else to say so I just wrote a short poem in John's memory.
We are born to live,
but death sets us free,
to move on to a better place,
like it was meant to be,
Though we're far apart,
and tears will fill our eyes,
we'll always have the memories,
Even though we say goodbye,
We will always think of John,
as the sun begins to rise,
and see the smile on his face,
the gleam in his eye,
And when the wind blows so softly,
across the clear blue skies,
Again we will think of John,
And a friendship that never dies.
