Well, I was all set to get up around 4 AM and the freakin' alarm didn't go off!! My wife just happened to wake me up around 5:40. She rolled over and went back to sleep, while I got up and threw on some clothes, grabbed a Coke (I didn't have time to wait on the coffee pot.) and headed out the door.
I made it to Staples at 6:10 and they still had the 42" LCD I wanted for $749! Guess who's going to get into video soon??
I also picked up a Seagate 500 gig external HD for $79.
Then I went to Best Buy and picked up another 500 gig MyBook for backup and bought my wife a photo printer. I was done then but my dad called and asked me to go to Target for him. They don't have a Target in their town.
I walked in the door and almost walked back out. It was chaos!! Anyway, I found the B&D 24 volt drill he wanted ($29 and the last one) and somehow got in the front of the line and was out in 10 minutes.
Went to Lowes and picked up a couple of things for my wife and found a B&D 18 volt drill/flashlight/vacuum set for $40.
A stop at Chick Fil A and my morning was complete.
I had my Ipod all loaded up, so I thought I'd share my what I listened to through out the day.
I started off by listening to Dave Windsor on a DJA Radio podcast.
then:
Mr. E's Beautiful Blues - Eels
Hold On - Holy Ghost ( new free song on ITunes - pretty catchy)
Walk of Life - Shooter Jennings
Loud - Big & Rich
Irreplaceable - Sugarland
In My Next Life - Terri Clark
Beautiful Girls - Van Halen
New Kid In Town - Eagles
Out To Get You - James
Laid - James
Four Sticks - Rollins Band
Misty Mountain Hop - 4 Non Blondes
Good Times Bad Times - Cracker
Happy Xmas (The War Is Over) - Sarah McLachlan
Oh Come All You Faithful - Twisted Sister
You Get What You Give - New Radicals
Ode To My Family - Cranberries
Show Me The Way - Peter Frampton
Sensual Seduction - Snoop Dog
Breath - Prodigy
Undress Me Now - Morcheeba
Aqualung - Morcheeba
Public Displays of Affection - Morcheeba
Climbatize - Prodigy
He Said She Said - Ashly Tinsdale
Zombie - Cranberries
Fire Starter - Prodigy
One Of The Three - James
Funky Sh*t - Prodigy
Smack My B*tch Up - Prodigy
It may not seem like a lot, but I listened mostly while in line.
