Connect lights to rekordbox

I believe the RB DMX is the only option to use Rekordbox lighting.

SoundSwitch is taking a different approach where they let you use a bunch of DMX converters, but they make you pay for the software. Rekordbox DMX is still trying to make their money on the hardware itself, but you shouldn't have to pay for the software on an ongoing basis.

So yes... it does the same job as the RB DMX, but they are not interchangeable.
