Ok, with the exception of maybe John Allo, I probaly know more about this genre than just about anybody, but that doesn't mean I know it all.... I have the soon to be functional Bubble Party business. And I have twin daughters that are going to be 6 in June.

So, feel free to list songs that you think are appropriate, high energy songs, that this age group might enjoy.

Later on I will list a whole mess of them. But how about your ideas? Thanks!

New from the Musical/Movie "Jump In"
Corbin Blue - Push It to the Limit?

Anything from Highschool Musical

I know these are "older" recordings, but there are a few gems in there!

You cant go wrong with Sesame Street Platinum 1 and 2...or Songs From the Street (3 disc set). If youre doing kid shows, these are a MUST. You put that Sesame Street theme song on and little kids always jump for joy.

Papa deuce, I have 7 year old twin daughters (and a couple younger ones as well). Do you have all girls in your household? If so maybe we should start a support group of some sort:) I think anything associated with the Disney channel right now is hot. Like you said any HS musical, Hannah Montana, Disney rock compilation CD's are great (they have stuff like girls rock, princess rock, and Disney songs remixed).

I recently worked a father/daughter dance, and could have played the whole thing off of the 4 Disney CD's I brought along.

Yeah, some of these 7 year olds are pretty darn "advanced" for their ages, especially compared to when my generation was 7....Geez we were so naive!

not having kids of my own, i think at 7 and under you are playing to the parents. kids that age will dance to anything if they want to dance.

To a point, but trust me.... there are certain songs that get them moving!

1. I Like to Move It.... the Madagascar version

2. Get Your Head in the Game from High School Musical

3. And maybe not "dancing".... but going bonkers? Play the Sponge Bob theme 3x in a row with eact time getting louder! :sqeek: :sqlaugh:
