Hi everyone .

I am an embedded systems developer. I am not a DJ. I'm the music listener type. I'm developing real-time music visualization tools, it's my hobby. I like to listen to music accompanied by light visualization. You will undoubtedly agree with me that lighting plays an important role in any musical SHOW.

I talked a lot with lighting engineers who are engaged in the creation of light shows, and they constantly convince me that it is impossible to create devices that can visualize music in real time, on their own, without operator intervention.

I believe that both music and light visualization belong to the realm of art and talented lighting engineers create beautiful light shows. But, of all that I have observed and am observing (this is my personal opinion), really talentedly created light shows take only ten percent and no more. But even talented shows are one-time shows. And for me, as I said “music listener”, I need a device that could work completely offline and, moreover, when listening to the same music track, it created a new visualization.

As a consumer, I need ease of use to be as simple as turning on the music, just as easy as turning on the visuals.

I constantly watch DJ broadcasts and I think that their musical works could certainly decorate light visualization devices. But existing modern systems require preliminary programming, debugging, running a programmed lighting composition, and the like. And for a DJ musician or composer who practice live music in their creative process, who create new melodies in real time, I think they need just such devices.

In my opinion, the DJ should focus on creating music, and the visualization system should help him with light arrangement in his creative process of creating a piece of music.

I've built two prototype renderers that work on principles I've defined for myself. That is, these are completely autonomous visualization devices, for their operation, you only need to apply an audio signal to the input. I have received a lot of positive feedback for these systems. To show my work, I started making demo videos in which I want to show the work of this technology in real time.

I want feedback from the community on how interesting this technology is to you (you can consider this as self-promotion), but your professional opinion is really important to me.

Here, for example, two videos, the first type is a demonstration for comparison of how a light show is written for modern lighting fixtures and a CLUBBEST prototype working at the same time M 100, I refer to this option as a club style.

I have been developing visualization systems, believe me for a very long time, and I think the most difficult option for visualization is the visualization of instrumental or classical music. To demonstrate how this technology copes in this mode, the second video.

I'd like to hear any feedback, what do you think about these types of instruments that can, without human intervention, that don't need any pre-setting, that can independently perform a lighting interpretation of a piece of music, in real time.
