    Well actually what I was hoping for eventually, as a way to learn, was to replace EVERYTHING as I could afford it, what I wasn't sure of is if I would have to re-wire stuff which would make me nervous, but I'd still do it when my friend comes back. -James

    Wireless Microphone Cables

    Well they may be the same but all I can tell you is when i use an XLR cable my voice makes my microphone feedback and when I use the 1/4 inch cable it doesn't. Maybe it something i'm doing, all I know is what works for me.. *shrug* -James

    Hmm i must be doing something wrong then. I can't get my mic to last for more than two shows before the low battery indicator goes on, doesn't seem to matter what batteries i use. ah well -James

    I use TRS cables mostly because my wireless mic is WAY too sensitive for my voice if i use an XLR cable for some reason.. Plus my dog ate part of the 1/4 inch TRS snake i had, so i stripped off all the rubber and managed to save 5 of the 8.
