    The Official Introductions Thread

I probably should add that my equipment consists of: a pair of EV EL X 12 speakers for tops a pair of PV PR 15 subs. I don't use a controller and mainly mix with my laptop. My events consist of weddings, private parties, and an occasional school dance

    Rockit Pro DJ

I was considering using it again. I've tried many packages including OTS and virtualDJ. They both have a lot of overkill for me and I found myself drifting back towards Rockit Pro DJ. I posted here to see if anyone was still using it. It worked for me flawlessly. Yes iTunes integration would...

    Rockit Pro DJ

Does anybody still use Rockit Pro DJ? I know the developer passed away. Has anyone stepped up to continue with it? This is great software if you just want to use your laptop without a controller and don't want all the fancy mixing and effects. It's really great for wedding DJs.

    Virtual DJ help

No I'm not scared. I appreciate what Rick has to say and it's right. I am working on my solution and will post it when done. I am a license holder of Rockit. I like the software. I only started to use VDJ LE because it was included with my new mixer/controller. I had to keep things...

    Virtual DJ help

I'll let you know if I get it right. - - - Updated - - - Finally decided to look and found the authors website. It was available for download there. FYI it is standalone and doesn't care what version of the software you are running. I should have done this before posting here. I figured I'd...

    Virtual DJ help

I'll be working on mapping the 14 next week. - - - Updated - - - It basically was exactly what I was looking for and satisfied my needs. I needed a new mixer and also sound card due to my existing ones meeting with the floor at high rate of speed and neither survived. (A story in its own...

    Virtual DJ help

My current Virtual DJ LE license that I got with my Mxr14 doesn't allow me to get tools from the site. I really need one that is FREE. It is SynchronizeTags that allows your database to be resynced with the metadata in your files. Can someone help me out by sending me the file??? Thanks for...

    Mixers with built-in soundcards

I have the AA 14MXR and I've not tried it with RockIt yet. On page 15 of the manual it has the MIDI TABLE for the controls. Maybe someone who is a little smater than me could get it mapped. I'd love to use Rockit again.
