I would suggest you google any local Tuxedo rentals and just call and ask them if they sell their vests, in housotn there is a store called K&B Fashion superstore, that's where I get all my tux apparel

You should be good if you don't have a live band to compete with... Mexican parties are used to 2 cerwin vegas per side (minimum) and some jbl dual 15's for mains... That's loud and deep pounding bass! but if I don't have a band... I used to get away with 2 Electrovoice Eliminator Subs...
