Rumor has it that after this album is done, the tour to promote it might be the last for these guys.

Wonder if they learned a different drum beat and key to play the songs in.

It would be nice to hear something from them that doesn't sound exactly the same as every other song they have recorded.

I love AC / DC.... but Rolling Stone Magazine had the best ever review of one of their CDs.... "They made that album again"..... That was the whole review!

BTW, on local radio today they said that it is being mixed down now, and may be out as early as May.

they followed the same recipe of K.I.S.S. as well to make it simple
KISS the band the legends. It all seems funny that some say they were playing the same song over and over.

Many singers bands acts etc tend to float around close to a certain type of rhythm or beat range. much like singers generally fit into a certain part of harmony. Bass Tenor you get my point. Even instruments have their ranges limits.

AC/DC capitalized on the pub type sound and succeeded. Some of it was their simple ripping chords but it was also about the show and also to include the party attitude. These guys narrowed it to amazing success. I am able to seperate song for song even the similiar ones and love almost every offering.

They themselves admit they found success in their style and played it not changing and ruining the recipe for success.

Much like when we find a niche as DJs we can experiment but are fools at an event when we dont recognize whats gaining our success. this ties in with Papas Cheese thread. Folks like it simple.
