I just took this pic standing in the kitchen.... If I would have been 10 seconds faster, there would have been a whale jumping in it...

Oh well...

My kitchen window (not really, but close enough -- I was too lazy to walk downstairs) :)

Don't know how you handle the same scenery every day -- it's like sleeping with the same woman for years :sqerr: :sqeek:

Expand yer horizons... ;) :)

The view from our window looks very much like Val's....

It's below 0 out, and windy. When i go home from the live sound show i did this morning, I couldn't even pull in my driveway!! There was a good 3 foot
pile of snow at the end of the driveway from the snowplow!!!:sqmad::sqmad:

So....i had a 2 hour date with the snowblower....:sqmad: Cold....Brrrrr!!!:sqlaugh:

Oh, it's a feakin winter wonderland here in Massachusetts. I've been snowblowing for 3 days now. I just love New England. It's really gonna suck come February.:sqfrown:

Where's Al Gore. I want to kick this global warming @$$.

Heres my view from the kitchen window. The present occupant is moving out I hear there will be a new tenant in a few weeks!

You guys have it easy. My pipes are frozen. I have tried everything to thaw them out, but they just freeze up again before I have the next section thawed. I haven't showered since Saturday! Chuck, you suck! Wish I was there right now. I hate winter.

Keep the water dripping in the faucets -- keeps the water in the pipes moving -- moving water doesn't freeze :)

I have to do that all winter.

BTW, Saturday was only two days ago -- We're lucky if we get a shower every 3-4 days here during the winter ;)

Have you tried Viagra?

My mother-in-law has a back bathroom that she refuses to do that. Pisses me off every year when I have to fix a busted pipe. I just got back from shutting the damn water off. I told her she can pay to have it fixed this year. If she's to much of tight-ass to let it drip, she can spend the extra money.

You HAVE to let the water run in these temps (in old houses), or in no heat areas.

Costs a heck of lot less for my pump to run, then fixing broken pipes!

Heck, my well overflow runs through a regular garden hose out back (200 feet worth), and runs all year round -- as long as it's moving, the friction heat will keep it from freezing solid :)
