I have a wedding this weekend for a couple in their 50's. They really like 70's music with the exception of disco. They are looking for some of the more obscure one hit wonders. I have a list and man there are a lot of songs I have never even heard of.
Anybody else have any suggestions.

Check out a compilation series called "Have Nice Decade." Ducky and I bought the box set and it turned out to be quite a good purchase.

Sazon, that deserves some rep...if only it would let me give some...arg...

Most of these aren't obscure, a few are. Most are just some songs I like and would play at a 70's party. This is just a SMALL sample, I could go on and on . . .

Longfellow Serenade
ELO-Shine A Little Love
Eruption-One Way Ticket
Hello-New York Groove
CCR-Looking Out My Back Door
Loves Me Like A Rock
Kodachrome
Me And Julio
Slip Sliding Away
ObLaDiObLaDa
Matchbox-Rockabilly Rebel
Perry Como-And I Love You So(Slow Dance)
Redbone-The Witch Queen Of New Orleans

Cheese:
Knock Three Times
Tie a Yellow Ribbon

Cutting out disco/funk eliminates a lot of great music and a lot of music that people love to dance to.

The bride doesn't even care much for the dancing, she wants good music to party to is how she put it. I'll slide in some funk and disco for the dancers and she knows that, she just doesn't like disco.
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
