Nice choice Randy. Didn't know they had a Monthly MP3. I am on the weekly and love it. Its a nice way to build a library. I get about 40-60 songs a week on average. And all of them are usable at some point. And there is some nice cocktail hour music on there as well.

I love my Prime Cuts Weekly. Started it in October of 09. I have added a ton of music to my collection so far.

Welcome to the Prime Cuts family Randy!

We'll have you getting the weekly subscription set up in no time.. :)

We have the weekly subscription and have everything we need ahead of time....Very glad we went this route.

Since my disc players read MP3 files I am considering switching to the MP3 weekly disc.

Doooo IT! lol It's nice having the music already formatted for you. No need to RIP & Encode to upload it to your hdd. That of course is if your a digital DJ. :sqcool:

I was supposed to be digital (I already own Rick's software -Rockit), but I've been dragging my feet...:sqembarrassed:

Sign up for weekly MP3 it will force you to convert. Hey Jim, Change Kirby's subscription. You have no choice in the matter any more Kirby. :sqlaugh:

At least wait until I get back from Vegas:sqerr:, I'm hoping that they'll have a free sample or two for me to try before this happens...

Not to be rude but I'm very happy with promo only.

I get:

Urban Club
Mainsteam Radio
Modern Rock Radio
Urban Radio

I like to have the cd's so if I feel like mixing it old skool with the decks. I guess eventually I will switch to digital format and burn cd's when I want them.

PrimeCuts would work if I didn't dj in bars. It will give a Wedding DJ everything they need, but they both are way behind I still download at least 30 to 40 tracks a month.

Why wait for Vegas? Email or call Jim or Rob and they will get a sampler out to you. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

:) Vegas is just around the corner and probably and I'd have something in my hands faster than waiting for the mail to deliver! :) :sqwink:

That's if the TSA will let you on the plane with it. Those Prime Cuts CD are banned from Airports. Ever since that day last April...... It's never been the same. :sqfrown:

Thanks Randy and everyone else--we really appreciate your support!

Kirby, we'll have a ton of MP3 samples in Vegas...if you stop by we'll be happy to give you one.

DJ Cam: You realize you're spending more money for less music, right? :)

PC: $569.40 a year
PO: $600 a year

PC: 52 CDs a year (shipped weekly)
PO: 48 CDs a year (shipped monthly)

I too like mixing old school with CDs...I just pop my PrimeCuts MP3 disc in my deck & play right off it. Our regular CDs are no slouch either...some songs come out faster on our MP3 discs but even our CDs get the music to DJs fastest than just about any other DJ music service.

To each his own though...Promo does put out a quality service. If you ever want a sample just let us know.

I miss out :(

they dont send to Australia :(

oh well...

We actually are able to service every country in the world. We have products shipping to dozens of countries and service them all directly, except DJs in Canada for our music products (there is a company in Canada who handles all the Canadian DJs).

Here's a blurb from our website:

TM Studios' products are broadcast on every continent on the planet. Company product lines include music compilation libraries and services, production music, commercial jingles, radio and TV station imaging packages, morning show prep, and comedy services, along with numerous on-line imaging products.

ok i'll re-look at this again

was a few years ago that I was told I couldnt get prime cuts CDs
so havent looked again since

I started with ERG, and converted happily to Primecuts weekly for a while, and then dropped back to the monthly service with the addition of the videos. I ran that until I retired from DJing.

Primecuts is a wonderful service. I highly recommend them. The service is top notch!
