You can try some of these
With You - Chris Brown
No Air - Jordin SParks
You & Me - Lifehouse
Put Your Heads on my Shoulder - Good Charlotte

fall for you - secondhand serenade
Tie me down - newboyz
Any taylor swift
kids still love Don't stop believing - Journey

I only play 1-2 slow songs at a HS dance and they are usually requested so not a ton of help sorry.

The climb
Never gonna be alone Nickelback
I need you now Lady Antebellum

LOL, high-schoolers a little drunk and pining for their absent/previous lover? That's about as appropriate for that environment as James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" is for a wedding, but that one gets requested all the time too. Do these people actually know these songs have LYRICS and what they're saying? :sqlaugh: :sqconfused:

This may sound stupid but what about throwing in some 80's ballads?

Never Say Goodbye
Every Rose
Patience
Heaven
I Still Think About You
Right Here Waiting For You

The list goes on...

They may not know them, but how could they not like some of those songs?

Throw in "Hero" by Enrique...That's a good one.

Don't kill me on this one, I'm not a DJ but just trying to help.

Good point. Stick to the songs that make women cry and DJs wince when brides mention them.
(Only kidding, Tony... and thanks for the free tracks this week).

An oldie but a goodie, take a look at Heatwave-Always And Forever. One of my favorite songs . . .

For a high school dance? You're kidding, right? Try some of these:

Thunder - Boys Like Girls
Take A Bow - Rihanna
Halo - Beyonce
Already Gone - Kelly Clarkson
Home - Daughtry
The Only Exception - Paramore
Bubbly - Colbie Caillat
Whatcha Say (Acoustic Version) - Jason Derulo
Rhythm Of Love - Plain White Ts
Mad - Ne-Yo

thank u sooooo much great list !!!!!!
