Nah, we're gonna change that Mason-Dixon line, and move it a little farther northward in Deliware (better cold cuts at the Deli).

If you would be up to a paintball game to settle the score, I'm sure that could be arranged... :)

Never tried it, but might like it .. I saw a game on Top Gun that looked interesting .. it was like basketball's HORSE or PIG ... lots of targets set up, 3 gun choices, you get to call the gun and the targets and swap turns .. that I could get into.

I am more Southern than all y'all! Trinidad & Tobago.

We have discussed Backups for Hard Drives, Laptops and some speakers. How about for those who use Gobo's, Monograms, Photo Booths, Uplighting, Cake Lighting, Ceremony systems (Especially those who use 1 Mono Speaker)? Does everyone literally carry backup for everything, two of each?

When I mean simple setups I am referring to laptop, maybe controller or mixer and two powered speakers. One speaker goes, then what for these guys. First would the system they have be interchangeable and second will they still have the required power to cover the crowd. These are the guys from whom I would also like to hear answers.

So, are you talking about sound systems, or the oher stuff???

Everything that encompasses one's own sound system!

Nah, we're talking real paintball here -- guerrilla warfare in the swamps and woods. I wouldn't expect you Yanks to do it down here, because you'd run away the first time a gator slides next you, while yer laying on the ground for an ambush... xf:D

One hit, and yer out of the game. It's basically capture the flag. You do the best of 5 games (sometimes they go fast, sometimes they take hours, and you go into the night). That's when it gets fun :)

It's real warfare, without the bullets. You can get paint grenades, mortars, just about anything you want. And yes, you can get hurt, and leave with some scars...

I thought you were in Texas -- make up yer mind... xf:D

I think I am the farthest south in the US , of anybody on this board at the moment. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not -- but heck, it's bragging rights :)

Val said it perfectly. I either have an exact back up for everything, or a solution to continue if something failed.

Not that difficult.

For example, I always have an extra L1 Model 2 in my car as back up. But I don't bring a back up compact for the ceremony too. If something happened to the compact, the back up L1 Model 2, which is way more than I need for a ceremony, would fill in nicely. The model 2 is a back up for the ceremony AND the reception.

So, I don't have a back up EVERYTHING with me, but I have a back up SOLUTION for every issue. I have 2 back up uplights, not 12.
