Huge fan of Prince..... Just yesterday I heard a new song from him for the first time. I wasn't even sure it was him until about halfway through the song, where you can definitely hear his classic Prince sound. I'm not sure it's really danceable, or good for DJs in any way, but by the 3rd time I heard it yesterday, I was absolutely hooked on it.

I'm a Prince fan too. This has a very retro vibe to it. I just don't care for that much synth. Otherwise, it's good.

Looking him up on Wikipedia, he IS prolific .. 33 studio albums, with 6 (six) of them between 2003 and 2004 (to get out of a prior contract).
I guess what had me thrown off a tiny bit was his voice. Not quite the pitch I'm used to.... plus I heard it all 3x on satellite radio, which, to me, sounds different by far, than hearing it on FM. I have now heard it on FM, and I like it even more.
Well, he is getting a bit older now -- he's the same age as I am.
As to the song, it was ok -- lyrics are good, although not something I'd hum in the car.
He is my claim to fame.... sort of... I used to see him play at Keg parties in North Minneapolis when I was in high school. He was AMAZING back then. Love his music.
