Neat cover of the Cars tune, "Just What I Needed," performed by the Punch Brothers. :)

On Zep and The Band mostly lately, Sometimes Soft White Underbelly.

This is a good one Zep, with Page and Plant looking older than Keith -- but still kicking ass. I wonder what Beiber will look like at that age...?

Here's the thing. I'm aware of this so called 'supergroup'. But really what it is is a group of famous musicians children. Kind of like the group Bloodline from back in the 90's. Children of good musicians do not a good musician make. There are a couple dozen bands playing in my local bars that are as good or better than this band, imo. Think about Gov't Mule or The Derek Trucks Band. Now those are rock and roll bands!!

With that said, I have noticed we have very similar tastes in music.

Some may refer to it as that, but I sure don't. What attracted me to buying this was having Cyril Neville on vocals.

Not familiar with Bloodline, but then again the 90's are my weakest decade for music knowledge.

Children of good musicians do not a good musician make.

Completely agree! But they do get their foot in the door by having that "name." :)

Totally agree, but we may not have a couple of dozen here. But I understand that train of thought.

Amen, love Warren Haynes. That man is very versatile. For a very young man, Mr. Trucks has a lot of licks under his belt..

With that said, I have noticed we have very similar tastes in music.

You like Boy George too?

I'd give this album about a C+/B-. Personally, I would have liked it more if they'd done more covers, instead of trying to have their own material. My favorite tune was the cover the Dead's, "Fire On The Mountain," but it still didn't come close to the Neville Brother's interpretation.
