Yup, I gave you a THANKS click! :)

I didn't get one, yet you want me to stuff something into your tip box.

Just do a good gig -- the kids will give the likes when it's done.

You've got two THANKS now Rick! The trick is to get more kids to the FB page which in turn should get more kids to come out to the dance. Once that is accomplished, I WILL do a good job. It's just the way you have to market to high school students these days Rick.

Well, thanks for the thanks Steve. :)

I hate FB -- I think it's one of the worst platforms in the world. I have never made a dime off of FB. I even adverted there, with no results.

I'll give you the like for S&G -- not sure how it will actually help...

Not to burst your bubble, but this is totally the wrong approach. A page for every event is a waste of your time, and you'll never get the number of likes that make the event seem like it will be popular. Facebook isn't even popular with teens... it's pretty uncool, largely in part because their parents and relatives all use it 24/7. Attempting to connect with teens via Facebook is very much an uphill battle.

If you must use Facebook for each event, set the event up as an event, not a page. If you want people to like something, entice them to like your business page, not a one-off event page that you won't be maintaining four months from now. Just my thoughts.
