Much better! Very clean set-up and the subs are spaced far enough apart to eliminate any power alley issues.

Now for my input on a school set-up. An EV system was mentioned earlier and EV rocks! But... Don't go in with a single amp cause you're asking for trouble. Carolina has 3 or 4 active subs, so if one goes down at a school dance, his system will keep chugging away.

I'm not saying they all have to be powered, here's my take on subs.

Two active - Good
One active with one slave - Bad
Two active with two slaves - Good
Two passive with one amp - Bad
Two passive with two amps - Good
Four passive with two amps - Good

I hope that makes sense.
In my future setup, I'll be moving my verticals out a bit and placing some 12's in between them and the booth. The 12's will be for fill for school dances and become my speaker of choice for weddings. They should arrive soon with my new amp.

Adam,
The Pyle Pro 3000 Watt amps = 10 watts RMS in real PRO SOUND equipment, the only real good use for the Pyle speakers is to use them as coffins when a mortuary runs out of them. In the 80's Pyle made some awesome 6x9 speakers for cars, I had 4 pairs them and they had huge magnets and they had dedicated input channels so you could bi-amp the speakers I fed the lows with a Kenwood 9020 amp and the high's with a Kenwood 7020 they rocked, but I guess they ended up going the el cheapo way after 1990.

Hey Randy,

Our speakers are mingling at MB. I think Ben had them take these to tease us all.

The L1's don't compare they are better IMO. I can see we won't agree no matter what. You think a traditional PA system is better & I know the Bose system I now own is better (because I use to own a "traditional" 10,000 RMS JBL system & I can compare the two). Traditional PA systems sound horrible in a full sized gym & my Bose system sounds great- that's all I know- plus the kids love it!

Well theres no sense in arguing over it. As far as your choice of system for schools is concerned, you're entitled to your views as am I. I wish you luck with that setup and hope it provides everything you expect it to.
