How do you generate referrals?

This is true but as others have said it can pay off. We have a local multi op that when ever they are fully booked will refer to us. I think just this year we have gotten 3 weddings because of them. The owner is about 20 years younger than me. But we work many of the same venues in a very tight community area that we don't live in (they do). But have worked there many times in the last decade. I would say most of this stuff just takes time. Because of trust from venues, vendors and past clients.
