One thing that makes the operation run smoothly is an official policy manual. In there we have the expectation/job description, conduct rules, to tips on how to handle scenarios that may come up. If you let your newly hired DJs know the rules from the get go, you will have very few issues. We rarely get complaints (1 out of 300 per year). The DJs take care of their equipment better because they own it.
