new folders not showing in vdj 8?

i have a question. how come my folders that i add do not show up on vdj 8? can some one help out?

I think we're going to need some more info. Where are you adding folders to? Where are they located?

i am adding them to my music folder located on my laptop. i had no problem on vdj 7.for some reason when i add a new one they are not showing up

I believe that's what puts it into the VDJ database

yes into my music folder and not showning on the side bar on vdj 8.

guys i hope this help a lot of people i've also had problems searching for my songs. i tried add to search DB, but that did not work so i just tried every thing and i found out where you type in the song to search on he right side their is a small magnifying glass right click on it and make sure that search in folder is checked on that fixed my problem and hope it fixes yours

You are doing this via: Batch -> Add to search DB ?

This should do it. Obviously you would do this operation on the music folder since that's your parent folder. You'll see the songs being added to the left of the search box (above the album cover images).

If that doesn't work I'd suggest going to the atomix site for answers.
