Rhythm and samples, yes - beat grids to live mixing is like the invention of the light bulb.

There's no chance I'm going to grid all my tracks though. The time spent woul dnever be worth it. The BPM tag is enough info and "old school" mode is all it takes for straight out music tracks.

I think the time will come when all of this will be done for us anyway - with subscription services supllying the tracks along with this other data already attached.

Just sharing Bob, just sharing. I do not do Beat grids either. I can mix manually by increasing/decreasing and or slip cuing without any problem.
