I've got one of the Galaxian 3-D models.

If you visit my website, I have a small lighting demo I shot - the laser used is the 3D in action. It's on the "Services" page, I believe.

I assume the video is showing it running DMX. How does it perform sound active?

I don't see a whole lot of difference between the Galaxian and the 3D though. Am I missing something?
 
The 3D adds that wave-like motion of the green laser.... didn't see that when I saw it vs the non-3D model in AC @ the Expo. It may be more evident with haze, but even w/o it, you can still see it (I think the video show it once or twice).

Well I went and bought the original Galaxian today. I weighed my options and I really didn't see enough of a difference to spend the extra on the 3D. That and the fact they didn't have any in stock
