Anybody have any experince with this light Chauvet Q-Spot 150 Led ? I saw a couple of U-tube videos and it looks pretty good. 20 watt LED, is that bright enough to give good crisp edges on the gobo projections?

They are cool, mobile friendly lights... but for the price of 2 you can grab 2 Martin 500 scanners with a nice, 12" netbook plus a dongle for freestyler and still have some cash left for more toys. Will your brides notice the difference? Will they pay for it?
Keep in mind that Martins don't need that much juice.

Yes I own 2 that are bought and paid for so now extra cost to the Bride.

Martin vs Chauvet, not something I want to argue about...

For the record though;

SCX500 power, current = 120 V, 60 Hz: 159 W, 1.35 A

Q-Spot 150 LED power, current = 120 V, 60 Hz: 50 W, 0.4 A

SCX500 Light Source = 150 W, 15 V MR16 halogen, 500 hours

Lamp cost $9 x 100 to equal 50,000 hours of Q-Spot = $900

Fixture cost ~ $ 350 + $ 900 = Total Cost $1250

Q-Spot Light source: 20 W, 1 x 1,000 mA white LED, 50,000 hours

Lamp cost = $0

Fixture cost = ~ $700 + lamp cost $ 0 = Total Cost $700
