:sqembarrassed: One of the songs I used for the conga line was from the CD Club Latino. The name of the song is Conga/Bamboleo/El Porompero/Rhythm Is Gonna Get You/Cuba.

Disregard my last post! :sqlaugh::sqembarrassed::sqrolleyes:

Quad City Dj's - C'mon Ride the Train

along the same lines...err...track......."Locomotion" by Kyle Minogue...the crowd gets it and the lyrics help too!

Come on now....it's all part of reception/wedding fun! :sqwink::sqerr:

I must admit that if the crowd is just right (cheesy) and they LOVED the following songs:

Celebration
We are Family
YMCA
CHicken Dance
Cha Cha Slide
Shout
Mony Mony
Old Time Rock-N-Rol
Electric Slide

Then I occasionally throw on Miami Sound Machine and watch them conga the night away!

I cannot believe that this thread even exists.

Nothing wrong with this thread. I get in a rut sometimes and like to mix it up and want to know what other folks are doing.

I use Jump In The Line.

One time Love Train started a conga line and so did the Michael Buble version of Save The Last Dance For Me. Sometimes it will just surprise you.

Mr. K

I cannot believe that this thread even exists.

Why because I never have a request to do actual conga line music a B&G specifically asked for Conga Line dancing along with big band, salsa, Christian and no songs that you can dirty dance to.

You cannot believe it exists because the DJ should know or that they want to conga line. Wait til you see the video of the "shark dance" they did. Quit an interesting bunch

Well if by your reply above I guess it is in Spanish.

Albita - Ta Bueno Ya
Ricardo Montaner - Vamos Pa La Conga
Los Joao - Joao Conga Medly
Casanova - Casonova Conga
just a few from the top of my head :sqlaugh:

Conga line is an excellent Ice Breaker especially if you get some Maracas to go along with it. Hand them out to the guests and shake it! LOL.....

Really? No one's ever asked you to start a conga at a wedding?

Playlists like these aren't because you'll find the need to play it spontaneously...It's for all the times someone says "put on something so we can do a conga line!" or "play something so 'so and so' can show off his awesome breakdancing!" and your brain goes *duhhhhhhhhhh.....????*
