Some good, some bad and some just average (disclaimer: in my biased opinion).

RED = SUCKS
BLUE = AVERAGE, DOESN'T SUCK TOO MUCH
GREEN = DOESN'T SUCK AT ALL
1. Nights In White Satin – Diane Di Stasio (AC)
A pretty uninspired cover of the Moody Blues song. She really should have left this one alone.
2. Old School – Hedley (CHR)
This song has its moments, but never really grabbed my attention.
3. Sexy Ladies – Ray J (Urban)
A funky little tune that lays down a nice slow groove.
4. All The Above – Maino – Feat. T-Pain (Urban)
Nice little hook pulls you in and in spite of T-Pain being involved in this, I actually like it.
5. Make The Trap Say Aye – OJ Da Juiceman (Urban)
Irritating, plodding, and really pitiful.
6. Magnificent – Rick Ross – Feat. John Legend (Urban)
Thud, thud goes the car stereo. This never seems to gel on any level for me.
7. Pocketbook – Jennifer Hudson – Feat. Ludacris (Urban)
Playful and sassy all rolled into one cut.
8. See You In My Nightmares – Kanye West – Feat. Lil Wayne (Urban)
Two of my least favorite recording artists and I was prepared to hate this one big time, but found myself getting drawn into this one after a few listenings.
9. Buy Myself A Chance – Randy Rogers Band (Country)
Middle of the road effort that never really grabbed me.
10. Forever – John Michael Montgomery (Country)
Big, loud chorus….will this be this year’s Country First Dance pick?
11. Free Bird – Joey & Rory (Country)
No, no, no…this is so wrong on so many levels.
12. Whatever It Is – Zac Brown Band (Country)
Ah, this will be the time to grab your cowgirl and hold her close for this one.
13. If Rap Gets Jealous – K’Naan – Feat. Kirk Hammett (Rock)
Very nice blend of Rap and Rock and what a great memorable chorus. Wait there’s more…… there are real drums used in this! Yeah!
14. Hard Times – Parlor Mob (Rock)
Nice little rolling bass line helps move this rocker along. Vocalist channels a bit of Robert Plant, while the band channels early Led Zeppelin.
15. Far From Over – Rev Theory (Rock)
Dreamy verses are very appealing, while the chorus sound like every other band out there that plays in this style. Overall not a bad cut, but doesn’t really stand out.
16. In This Life – Jet Black Stare (Rock)
Sounds kind of like a Nickelback clone band. Fair but not something that would make me run out and buy something by this band.
17. The Fear (Stonebridge Radio Edit) – Lily Allen (Dance)
Um, I’m really embarrassed to say that I like this and find it very pleasing to listen to…
18. Circus (Tonal Remix) – Britney Spears (Dance)
I better check my meds as I find myself perversely attracted to this remix and find that the further they bury her vocals in the mix the more I like it.
19. God You Reign – Lincoln Brewster (Christian)
Hmmm, Lincoln Brewster I wonder if they’re any relation to Punky Brewster. Pretty lifeless U2 type of song and the Edge want his guitar sound back.
