On my mobile gigs (DJ & band), I'm wanting to incorporate subs back into my system (been only using QSC K10s). I'm using these power+xlr cables currently:

I ordered a Y-adapter and planning to run both a K10 and 15" sub (Alto TS315S) off the combo cord. I believe typical draw is less than 3 amps for each pair of top/sub cabinets. Any sage advice on whether this is smart or dumb?

I don't know anything about 'Accu-Cable' but Steve used to talk quite often about a group that would custom make quality combo cables.

I like the concept of it. I'm sure as long as they are shielded well and there isn't any interference on the XLR (and the cost isn't a ridiculous amount more) I'd be interested in them.

I haven't seen any kind of interference with the XLR. I really love these combo cables. On the AC side, it says the electrical is rated for 13 amps. When I've checked my stacks, usually 5 amp spikes were typically as much power as the speakers will pull. I have the adapters coming in today and will try this concept out soon.
